So we’ve figured out who sees an @reply. But what about an @mention??
An @mention on Twitter is when someone mentions your Twitter username within a tweet (e.g. “great blog post from @_samflynn. Well worth a read!”).
This will only appear in the timeline of those who follow the composer of the tweet. It will not appear in the timeline of those who follow the person mentioned in the tweet.
So, if you want your followers to see a testimonial @mention, make sure you retweet it!!
