Following up on Twitter is as important as any other form of marketing! You’ll have heard me, and lots of other social media trainers, bang on loads about the importance of engagement! But, it’s important to take it beyond one interaction.

It typically takes between 5 and 9 pieces of correspondence for a buyer to make a decision. So, if you only engage with them once on Twitter, chances of you converting them to a customer are slim!

Keep the interaction going!! One of the simplest ways to do this is to create a list of people who talk to you on Twitter! At the end of every week, go back over the interactions you have had and add those people to a ‘talk to me’ list. You can then check your list every day and carry on responding to their updates!!

This will definitely guarantee you more business through Twitter than engaging once with lots of different users!
