I don’t know about you but every year I vow to make that year better than the last in my business (and personal life too!). How else can we expect our businesses to grow?
So, are you ready to make 2013 your best year ever?
If you are, then you really do have to start NOW! Have you set your goals for the year? And have you written them down? Written down goals are far more likely to be achieved than those we keep in our head. Even better if you tell as many people as possible what your goals are, and remind yourself of them every day!
Of course, it’s very difficult to grow your business without doing any marketing! So, a big part of your plan for 2013 should include the marketing you’ll be doing.
Having only a couple of forms of marketing is dramatically going to reduce your chances of success, so make sure you include at least 12 forms of marketing. And don’t always look for the easy options. After all, that’s what your competitors will be doing!
Finally, social media should be a big part of your marketing in 2013! If you have been using social media for a while now and are still not seeing results from it, it’s probably time to approach it in a different way!
If you dedicate most of your time to posting updates, think about listening and responding to conversations as well. If you have yet to try Facebook Ads, make this the year you give them a go. Or if you haven’t tried winning business through Twitter searches, get some set up now!
